According to the latest report from Xinhua News Agency: As of October 2023, the total power generation of the Baihetan Hydropower Station on the Jinsha River, a national landmark project participated by Far East, has exceeded 100 billion kWh. This is equivalent to saving about 30.07 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 82.40 million tons. The steady supply of green clean electricity is transmitted to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other regions, ensuring the economic development and residential power demand in the Yangtze River Delta. "Green Clean Energy", "Dual Carbon Goals" and "Technological Innovation" have gradually become the key words of Far East Cable's products and services.

Notably, after participating in a number of "green super artery" projects, Far East Cable has once again won the bid for the Ningxia-Hunan ±800 kV UHV DC Transmission Project (abbreviated as "Ningxiang UHV DC Project"), which is China's first UHV transmission channel mainly for clean energy delivery. This project is also a key case for Far East to support the "Dual Carbon Goals" and implement the "ESG concept".

According to the relevant planning, the Ningxiang UHV DC Project starts from the sending-end converter station in Zhongwei City, Ningxia, and ends at the receiving-end converter station in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, passing through 6 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government): Ningxia, Gansu, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Hubei and Hunan. The total length of the line is 1634.3 km, with a transmission capacity of 8 million kW, a rated transmission power of 8000 MW, a rated DC voltage of ±800 kV, and a rated DC current of 5000 A. The project is also equipped with 4.64 million kW of thermal power and 13 million kW of new energy. This is another national key clean energy product and service project of Far East following its participation in the Sichuan-Chongqing UHV AC Project (Ganzi-Tianfunan 1000 kV Line Project) in the first half of the year. It is reported that the official conductor laying of the project will start in April 2024.

Jiang Chengzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and Industrial Chairman of Far East Holding Group, stated in an interview with the media: "Innovation is an inexhaustible driving force for enterprise development. Over the years, we have continuously focused on segmented sectors in market layout and cultivated leading products in the industry. UHV conductors are our 'masterpiece'."

According to statistics, Far East's UHV series cable products have been successfully applied to more than 30 UHV transmission lines, including the "Baihetan-Jiangsu ±800 kV UHV DC Project", "Weifang-Linyi~Zaozhuang-Hebei-Shijiazhuang 1000 kV UHV AC Project", "Qinghai-Henan, Northern Shaanxi-Wuhan ±800 kV UHV DC Project", "Yazhong-Jiangxi ±800 kV UHV DC Transmission Project", covering 16 provinces and cities including Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu and Xinjiang, realizing large-capacity, low-loss, high-safety, efficient and long-distance power transmission.

Up to now, all lines are in good operation condition. The supporting cable quality meets the requirements of "successful commissioning at one time and long-term safe operation", and has received satisfactory feedback from customers.
