Daxing Airport is the first airport construction project approved by the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. With a total investment of 80 billion yuan, the terminal covers a construction area of 1.4 million square meters, with a planned annual passenger throughput of 100 million and 800,000 aircraft movements. Spanning Beijing and Hebei Province, it is the first large-scale international aviation hub across administrative regions in New China, serving as an important strategic window for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration and the Belt and Road Initiative.

A major highlight of Daxing Airport is its power supply system, which achieves an international first-class power supply reliability rate of 99.9999%, meaning the average annual power outage per household does not exceed 30 seconds. To ensure such high reliability, the airport adopts the world's most reliable "dual-loop network or triple power supply" grid structure. The power transmission between multiple voltage levels relies on power cables. As the main power cable supplier for Daxing Airport, Far East provided various cable products including medium-voltage 10kV power cables and navigation lighting cables. Among them, the supply of 10kV power cables exceeded 188 kilometers, enough to stretch across the entire Beijing city. Last September, the airport construction headquarters, construction contractors, and other relevant units visited Far East for exchanges and fully affirmed Far East's cable products.

Since airport cables have extremely high requirements for waterproof performance, after extensive research, Far East was required to provide power cables with superior waterproof and low-temperature resistance. However, winters in northern China are bitterly cold, and power cables with waterproof outer sheaths are prone to cracking if installed improperly. The airport landing guidance system is a navigation system that uses radio equipment to guide pilots or autopilots for safe aircraft landing, and is the top priority for ensuring flight safety. In the construction of Daxing Airport, Far East undertook the installation and commissioning of various landing systems. Since joining the project, the Far East construction team worked day and night, and completed the installation of all 6 sets of instrument landing systems, 1 set of VOR/DME system equipment, and antenna feeder systems in just 3 months, setting a record for the fastest navigation engineering installation in the company's history. At the same time, they strictly controlled the quality in drawing optimization, measurement and positioning, power station technology, lamp installation, connector production and other aspects, achieving beautiful layout, ingenious design and outstanding highlights, striving to build a high-quality and model project. In the flight inspection at the beginning of the year, the installation technology of the navigation equipment undertaken by the company was highly praised by professional inspectors in terms of standardization, scientization and processization.

Airport navigation lighting is a visual aid for approach and landing at night and in complex weather conditions, and an important auxiliary equipment for radio approach landing systems. Factors such as airport grade, flight sorties, weather conditions, environmental differences, and supporting navigation facilities all affect the lighting configuration. Despite the tight construction schedule, the Far East construction team strictly controlled all the above factors, and improved and innovated four major processes: slotting, lamp pit reservation, lamp box foundation formwork production, and lamp box cover sign production. This greatly improved construction efficiency, reduced costs, and optimized aesthetic appearance. The lamp boxes in the airport feature high texture and appearance, with clear characters and corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant signs on the covers.
