Reach a Common Consensus and Forge Ahead Together

  On March 17, the second “Relay 100” postgraduate seminar was held in Wisdom School of Far East University. It is aimed to get a better picture of the basic situation of cadets of the second “Relay 100” training program after entering the company, help the trainees in study, work and life, as well as build consensus among them and forge ahead hand-in-hand. Present at the seminar are Xu Guoqiang, investor, CAO and vice chairman of Supervisory Committee of Fast East Holding Group, Zhou Dongjiao, investor, assistant president, and chief human resources officer, Wang Xiaoqiang, investor and assistant to the general manager of cable industry of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Smarter Energy, stock code: 600869), Ren Jiangjing, investor, senior director of the Group’s Human Resources Department, and senior director of the president’s office of Far East College, Xu Xiangbin, director of Smarter Energy’s Finance Department, Qu Kun, investor and vice director of Wuxi Far East Property Management Co., Ltd., Kong Qunling, investor and assistant to director of Party and Mass Organizations Department, Ji Haifeng, assistant to director of Smarter Energy’s Purchasing Department, as well as Zhang Yanyan, assistant to director of the Group’s Human Resources Department.

  

  The Scene of the Seminar

  Xu Guoqiang required every department to quickly respond to the trainees’ questions and firmly carry out consolidated consensus. By sharing real examples, he gave the cadets advices to help them in fitting in quickly, setting mood and developing ability to observe, think and find and solve problems though in doing some seemingly trivial work. Upholding that “the real responsibility comes from the responsibility of individual”, he also encouraged them to work earnestly and make steady progress in blending in Far East, and so obtain rapid growth in both study and work.

  

  Xu Guoqiang Makes a Statement at the Seminar

  Zhou Dongjiao presided over the meeting and made closing remarks. She mentioned the principle of ability, experience and contacts winning over material satisfaction, hoping that the cadets and Far East could satisfy each other’s needs in values exchange, achieving a win-win result. In addition, she shared the seven phases from in the workplace as well as the famous “10,000-Hour Rule”, stimulating the trainees to seize the day and try to do everything well since life and work never turn a diligent man down.

  

  Zhou Dongjiao Delivers a Closing Speech

  Wang Xiaoqiang extended his hope that during work shifts the cadets could define their goals and work out plans to make the most of time and opportunity and to know more relevant working procedures and business functions in an inclusive and an active manner. Jiang Jing made it clear that the Human Resources Department would further upgrade the training program. By sharing her own work experience, she encouraged them to exercise more, accumulate more, think more and improve more during the work shifts. She also expressed hope that all the trainees could have things to do and expect as well as make progress in a loving environment.

  Directors at different departments including those of production, administration, finance, human resources, property, purchasing as well as Party and mass organizations respectively conducted on-site exchanges and Q&A on such matters as “Relay 100” training program, career planning, performance management, property service, etc.

  Far East has abided by employment philosophy based on excellence in both character and performance, focus on talents introduction and cultivation, and thus make great efforts in implementing “Relay 100” program, organizing monthly seminar and perfecting the training program via continuous exchanges and problems solving. For 8 months since the second batch of “Relay 100”cadets joined the company, they have learned in different production plants, business departments and functional departments in good order, and gained better understanding of the company’s key values, system culture and responsibilities. During the seminar, the trainees were active in expressing their opinions and making suggestions. In addition, they extended their gratitude for the company’s cultivation and expectation that they could bring their specialty into full play and thus create value for Far East.
