The 12th China International Wire & Cable Exhibition (Wire China) will be held from September 21 to 24, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Far East New Materials will present a diverse portfolio of advanced cable materials — covering insulation, sheathing, and specialty materials — alongside its full-scenario cable solutions, from specialty cables and new energy cables to smart cable networks and testing technologies.

High-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, and long service life all originate from material formulation. At this exhibition, Far East New Materials will showcase a range of cable compounds including crosslinkable insulation compounds and sheathing compounds, covering power cables, specialty cables, and new energy cables. The booth will combine material pellet samples with finished cable samples to visually demonstrate how material properties translate into final product performance — showing how a single pellet corresponds to a cable‘s performance requirements, and how different formulation systems affect weather resistance, flame retardancy, and electrical performance.

Continuous material performance improvement is underpinned by a robust R&D system. Far East New Materials operates a materials R&D laboratory equipped with pilot-scale equipment including 5L internal mixers and 35 parallel twin-screw extrusion granulators, alongside testing and analysis instruments such as torque rheometers, UV aging chambers, xenon arc aging chambers, FTIR spectrometers, single-arm tensile testers, open mills, and flatbed vulcanizers. This system covers the complete workflow from formulation development and pilot validation to performance testing — ensuring continuous optimization of mechanical properties, weather resistance, and compositional stability. It is not one-off product development, but iterative, traceable, systematic R&D.
